This Policy explains how Rapid Recall Technologies LLC (“RapidRecall,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our study products and websites at rapidrecallprep.com (the “Service”). The Service is operated from the United States and is intended for U.S. users; it is not directed to users in the EEA or UK.
Purchase information — processed by Stripe. We receive a confirmation and the email you use at checkout (used to deliver and restore your access). We do not receive or store full payment-card numbers. Stripe may collect payment, billing, device, and fraud-prevention information directly from you.
Pseudonymous study telemetry — to measure whether our study method works, our study apps record study events (which item was shown, correct/incorrect, timing, session data, and retention-check data) tied to a randomly generated device identifier, stored in our analytics database (Supabase). We design this telemetry to be stored separately from your checkout email. We do not intentionally use it to identify you personally, but device-based access and local browser storage may involve technical identifiers on the same device.
On-device progress — some progress data (streaks, scheduler state) stays in your browser for your experience and is not sent to us. This is separate from the event-level telemetry described above, which is sent to Supabase for aggregate efficacy analysis.
Communications — anything you send us (e.g., a support or refund request).
Basic device and usage data — such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages/screens viewed, timestamps, and error logs, used for reliability and security.
To provide and deliver the Service; process purchases and restore access; analyze in aggregate whether the adaptive study method improves retention (our efficacy study); respond to support; maintain security; and comply with law. We may also review raw pseudonymous event records to debug, improve item quality, and validate the study method — but we do not use those records to identify you personally. We do not sell your personal information. We do share limited conversion data (such as a hashed email) with Google for advertising purposes, including Google Customer Match, to reach past customers and find similar audiences — see Section 8 for how to opt out.
The study telemetry in §1 is designed to be about the method, not the person: it uses a random device id, carries no name, and is analyzed in aggregate. The app’s settings screen displays your random device id. You may request deletion of telemetry associated with that device id by contacting us; because it is not linked to your name or email, we may need that device id to locate it, and if you lose access to the device we may be unable to identify the records. If we later connect study telemetry to accounts or identity, we will update this Policy before doing so and provide choices where required.
Payments are handled by Stripe; their handling of your information is governed by Stripe’s privacy policy. We do not store full card numbers.
We use only what is needed to operate the site and measure basic usage. We use Google Ads, including conversion tracking and Google Customer Match, to measure and improve our advertising, and Google Analytics to measure overall site traffic and usage (such as pages viewed, approximate general location, and how visitors reached us). Google may use this data consistent with its own privacy policy. You can control cookies through your browser, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s opt-out browser add-on.
With service providers who help us operate — Stripe (payments), Supabase (pseudonymous study telemetry/analytics), and hosting/content-delivery providers — under contract; to comply with law or protect rights; and in connection with a business transfer. These providers are permitted to process information only to provide services to us and are not authorized to use it for their own marketing. We do not sell personal information. We do share limited conversion data (such as a hashed email) with Google for advertising purposes, including Google Customer Match; you may opt out as described in Section 8.
The Service is intended for exam candidates and is not directed to children under 13; we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Individuals under 18 should use the Service only with a parent’s or guardian’s permission.
Depending on where you live (e.g., California/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your information; to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information; where applicable, to limit our use of sensitive personal information; and to be free from discrimination for exercising these rights. We do not currently collect “sensitive personal information” as defined by the CPRA (such as precise geolocation, government identifiers, or health data). To make a request, contact us below; because study telemetry is pseudonymous, we may need the random device id shown in the app’s settings to locate it. California residents may opt out of the sharing of information for cross-context behavioral advertising at any time by emailing support@rapidrecallprep.com with ‘Opt Out’ in the subject line.
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described, then delete or de-identify it. As guidance: checkout and support records are retained for up to 7 years (e.g., for tax and dispute purposes); pseudonymous study telemetry is retained for up to 24 months for efficacy analysis, then deleted or aggregated/de-identified.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information, including limiting access to production systems and using secure service configurations. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
The Service is operated from the United States and intended for U.S. users; it is not directed to users in the EEA or UK. If you use it from outside the U.S., your information may be processed in the United States.
We may update this Policy; we will post the updated version with a new effective date. For material changes — especially any change that would connect study telemetry to accounts or identity — we will provide additional notice and obtain choices where required before the change takes effect.
